The sheer lacquer base makes this feel like glass on my lips without any stickiness. I've worn NY12 three days straight and the champa note stays soft instead of turning sour on me.
I was worried the champa note would be too strong, but it's actually subtle and warm against the sheer lacquer base. NY12 reads as a soft your-lips-but-better tint, and it stays comfortable through a whole workday without any sticky feel.
Wore NY12 to dinner and my sister immediately asked what I had on. The sheer lacquer base isn't sticky at all, which is rare for something this glossy, and the champa scent is subtle enough that it doesn't fight my perfume.
