The color is a perfect medium brown for my dark hair, not too warm or ashy, and the twist-up mechanism means no sharpening mess. I fill in sparse spots in the morning and the pigment holds up all day without smudging.
The two-sided design is genuinely handy since the spoolie end means I don't have to dig around for a separate brush. The med brown shade fills in my sparse spots without looking drawn-on, and it stayed put through a sweaty gym session.
